Good afternoon,
I am very pleased to announce that Stacey Jenkins has accepted the position of principal of the Williamsburg Elementary Schools.
Stacey is currently the principal of Bernardston Elementary School. She was previously the principal of the Pearl Rhodes Elementary School in Leyden and a classroom teacher in South Hadley and the Gateway Regional School District. She is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and the University of Massachusetts.
In addition to having demonstrated instructional leadership in her current position, Stacey has a strong foundation in curriculum, assessment and instruction. She values students first and understands the importance of communication between and among students, staff, families and the community.
A resident of Westhampton, Stacey is the President Elect of the Massachusetts Elementary School Principals’ Association and a member of the Finance Subcommittee for the Town of Westhampton.
Please join me in welcoming Stacey as the new Principal of the Williamsburg Elementary Schools. We expect her to be on board on July 1, 2011 or shortly thereafter.
